Finally released from prison, Elwood Blues is once again enlisted by Sister Mary Stigmata in her latest crusade to raise funds for a children's hospital. Hitting the road to re-unite the band and win the big prize at the New Orleans Battle of the Bands, Elwood is pursued cross-country by the cops.

خلاصه داستان : پس از آزادی «جِیک بلوز» از زندان، او و برادرش «الوود» تصمیم می‌گیرند برای نجات یتیم‌خانه‌ای که در آن بزرگ شده‌اند، گروه موسیقی بلوز خود را دوباره تشکیل دهند. آن‌ها برای جمع‌آوری پول لازم، یک «مأموریت از طرف خدا» را آغاز می‌کنند و در سراسر شیکاگو به دنبال جمع کردن اعضای سابق گروه خود هستند.

Jake Blues, just released from prison, puts his old band back togther to save the Catholic home where he and his brother Elwood were raised.
