خلاصه داستان : هنگامی که یک سری موارد مشکوک به مرگ اتفاق می افتد و همه قربانیان دارای بیماری لاعلاج بودند. کارآگاه اینوکای هایاتو و کارآگاه تاکاچیهو آسوکا در این مورد تحقیق می کنند. آنها با تحقیقات خود متوجه شخصی معروف به نام "دکتر مرگ" می شوند. او با درخواست بیماران مرگ راحتی را برای آنها رقم میزند...

A series of suspicious death cases take place. All the victims were terminal patients. Detective Hayato Inukai (Gou Ayano) and Detective Asuka Takachiho (Keiko Kitagawa) investigate the case. Through their investigation, they learn of a person known as "Dr. Death." He performs euthanasia by request. Meanwhile, Detective Hayato Inukai’s daughter Sayaka requests the help of Dr. Death. Sayaka suffers from a severe kidney disease.

Takane (Honoka Miki) is a teenage student interested in art. Her friend Mika (Misato Aoyama) wants to become a novelist. They are best friends and have developed feelings for each other. Their relationship though becomes shaken by the presence of Namie (Yukie Kawamura). Namie is an ex-novelist and works as a librarian.

Kanami (Satomi Kobayashi) is a TV director. Her pet Natsu recently died due to a disease. Kanami begins to shoot a film about dogs after her movie director friend suggests the idea. For her movie, she visits an animal shelter and a shelter for dogs rescued from the area around Fukushima. She is touched by the people who work diligently to save the animals.
